Yeah, what is going on with Maine public radio? Wendy had it for a while,
but has now lost their signal.

One the other hand, I hear the Queen Mary was in port last night.

Oh! I so wanted to see the Queen!!! I'd planned for weeks to go see her
when she came. Unfortunately, her timing coincided with a bounced check due
to some bad math, so I couldn't swing the gas (in any good conscience) to
take a ride down yesterday. I'm sure her presence in the harbor was
commanding. If just to spend ten minutes on the Eastern Prom looking.
She's the biggest boat to have been in the harbor since the Atlantic Fleet
anchored there in WWII.
As for Maine Public Radio, I don't know what they're up to. I think the
only station to have technical difficulties was 91.3. They went off the air
during one of Bush's little conniptions during Friday's debate and didn't
come back on line until sometime Saturday afternoon. We were thoroughly
disappointed. I assumed initially that MPB had lost their feed, so we
missed 45 minutes of the debate, before I thought to try other stations.
This is after the fruitless dial searching for the Sox, so it was a rough
evening for radio listeners here in Belgrade. I finally tried one of the
other MPR stations and found they were still on-air and we heard the rest of
the debate. By then, our minds were on bed and we weren't so enthused to
listen.
I have a lonely Golden in my lap. I'd like to say that a blonde is lying
it's head on my lap, but he's a boy and he eats from the litter box.
Nothing to build a fantasy for y'all from. And he just belched on my lap.
Rena has been working since seven this morning and I left at the same time
to go to a hockey reffing seminar, so I guess he's feeling undervalued.
Need to go out in the dark driveway and throw the ball a few times.
