Well, no big details yet but one thing is for certain.
We're *not* getting married in our home state!
Somewhere in DC is the idea. It will likely be short
sweet and swift as we would have to travel a day to
get there...not to mention getting the papers in order
a few days before we can make it official. From what
I can tell so far, there is a 3 day waiting period once
an application is filed.

linda and i are going to be witnesses for our friends mark and jeromy when they get married in DC in july. jeromy has figured out ALL the details of what it takes
to get married in DC. i'm sure he'd be happy to share what he knows if you want his email address!

If you don't have an officiant I can ping my colleagues down there and
see if someone is looking...or are you going the strictly-civil route?

We are certainly lookin' to make it official. I mean, after havin' to drive
all that way. :-) I will keep you posted and I appreciate the offer. If I
can make it home soon, we will have a chance to really discuss some
more details.
