I have no idea how to spell the thing kids call out when it is safe to
come in from hide-and-seek but could someone let the technobabe know I
yelled it and could she please get in touch? Sorry to burst in with it
but no one seems to know how to reach her...or maybe I just don't know
who to ask?

Anyone have big plans for Feb? :>

Well ... I just got a mortgage and bought a house. Ok, so I didn't
buy a _new_ house -- I bought out my parents' share of the house
we've co-owned for the last 20 years. But now it's mine, all mine.
And the mortgage is too. Wheee!

the posts, and still feeling like I'm a part of the old place.

I'm asking you for some kind thoughts for my dog, Jings, who I had to let go
a few days ago. She was a gentle soul, an old soul who never had a cross
growl to emit. She was my companion of 15 and a half years. She comforted
me through some hard times, and was always up for a game and a cuddle,
characteristics I will try to emulate.

My father told me when I was young that really was a shortened version of "all ye,
all ye, alls in free". It made sense, and my father didn't make stuff up (unlike his
daughter who loves to tease kids and make up stuff!).

Let me know when you figure that out, because I'll be facing the
same problem after we get MC settled into her basement home
office sometime soon. She's not working from home full time, but
with all the work she brings home, it's time to get her set up.

Then again, I think each of us having our own space is the secret
to continuing a long and happy life together. We're nearing the
8th anniversary of the beginning of our cohabitation, and I'm
surprised that we haven't taken this step already. I think we've
managed pretty well so far because I usually get an hour or so to
myself in the morning before she rises, and she has some time to
herself in the evenings before I come home, but my clutter is
starting to get to her.

Wow.... So much I want to say here, but I just realized I need to get my
ass in the shower. Need to be on the road in a half hour to get over to an
8:10 squirt travel game at Colby, then onward to a 10:40 bantam house game
at Sukee. Only two games this weekend. Our scheduler has been sick, so
I've not been paid. With the two I'm working today, I'm owed for a dozen
games in the last 3 weeks. They've all been travel, so I'm looking at an
average of about $20+ a game. Will be nice to get it all of a once...

But I need to get moving right now. My bags not packed. I'm not ready to
go....
