you know those "free speech zones bush has set up wherein they place
any protesters *blocks* away, so bysh never has to deal with the fact
that he has made a major segment of our population very unhappy?

well, I just read that the DNC (Terry McAuliffe) has decided to set
these temporary concentration camps up for the democratic nat'l
convention...

I thought the dems were supposed to be *for* free speech? (I mean
real free speech, the kind guarranteed by our mostly defunct
constitution...)

feet that understand folks may be against gay marriage, but do not want
to constitutionalize it. the only time the document has been used to
take something *away* was Prohobition, and you know how well _that_
worked!

The Dems have strayed far, far from their constituency. This is why you see
Bush in office. This is why Kerry will get the nomination and why the media
was allowed to take down Dean's campaign when they did. And now Kerry, (who
is emminently unelectable, imho) has made his statement that he will _back_
a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage if it allows for civil
unions. Talk about an ultimate flip-flop try to garner votes from everyone
while leaving most behind. He has lost what little, minute shred of respect
that may have been forming in my head for him.
