Long and short of it is that she ran off with the drug dealer
and then he got locked up. They came to live with my mom.

yah. my brother's wife ran off with the local crank dealer, leaving him
with two baby girls... he's raised 'em for 13 yrs...

June 9th. My mother's 60th birthday. Shortly after talking to her
on the phone, I get an e-mail. She's just had a call from FL state
police and Tina has died in a fire, along with her 3 year old son.
Happy birthday from the universe?! I don't know. It's just the
strangest thing.

I feel really sad for the little boy... not much of a BD present, IMHO

speaking of karma - my ex, (the b*st*rd who molested my daughter, and
tried to take my son away, 'cause I was a *bad* mother) finally got
some justice from above. (or somewhere)

his car was repossessed, his motorcycle got stolen, he got fired from
his job, got thrown out by his roommate, he got arrested and jailed for
moving and failing to reregister as a sex offender, and now, at 45, is
living with his mother (who abused *him* as a child - these things
are generationally transmissible) at her home in a hideous ghetto in
LA... which is filled with drive-by shootings and drug dealings...

I don't know whether to cheer or throw up...
