[ASLM] what i'm thankful for

Today is Thanksgiving in the U.S. I'm working (gotta love that double
time), and Sunny & Sarah get to enterain themselves and the cats.
Hope all who celebrate the day do so well and fully.

thank you, dear. i definitely celebrated fully, and have the full belly to show for it.

Should I be tacky and start a "what I'm thankful for" list?

it isn't tacky at all! i think cultivating an attitude of gratitude is a Very Good Thing

-- First and foremost, Sunny
-- My warm, dry house in this cold blustry times, full of good people
and critters
-- My 86 year-old mom who still goes at amazing pace
-- My incredable advisor who supports me and teaches me so much
-- My wonderful colleages, both student and faculty who support each
other so
-- All my other family and friends
-- My work, where I get to take care of our Veterans and their
families and help people go though that last great passage: I learn
so much from them and am so humbled to be part of this most intimate
time.

i like this thread! here's my list ... what i'm thankful for:

- my authentic life, where i'm no longer living the lie of heterosexuality
- my beloved partner linda (three-and-a-half years now)
- my two beautiful, healthy, nearly-grown kids (the youngest turns 14 tomorrow - yikes!)
- my friends ... the shoes, the assbitches, and the miscellaneous ones too
- my health ... what a blessing!
- my current job - great boss, great company, great team

and it's off-to-bed time for me. i have to work tomorrow.
